Robyn and I met for 50 minutes and discussed my 1st draft thesis. Overall, she praised my efforts stating that she especially appreciated my auto-theoretical position, which is well articulated throughout. I appreciate this because she is a theorist.
She also stated that the color aspect of my writing came together in a way that she didn't initially anticipate. And she said how meaty or muscular my writing is now.
Regarding the structure, Robyn recommended that I switch the order of the 3rd and 4th chapters to maintain the momentum I built in the literature review and the research design.
She said she would have preferred to have a say in who my viva reviewers will be, but was not given that opportunity. Because of the overlap in our philosophical and theoretical positions, and because we have worked so closely together for four years, I would have preferred this too.
I thanked her for her close and steady supervision. She was consistently most helpful to my writing the thesis.

Robyn said she marked up a hard copy of my 1st draft, and will snail mail it to me early next week.
I will make her recommended changes that will be included in my 2nd draft submission.
