2 February 2026 Supervision Meetings

Discussion notes (researcher):
Feb 15: To prepare for my scheduled viva voce, Robyn and I met to discuss potential questions and answers. We spent 1 hour of the 90 minute meeting addressing the origins and concept of the autotheoretical method of my analysis-as applied to both studio and written parts of my research project. And we briefly talked about the broad topic of identity as well as how in my project I address my own.
At the end, we agreed that I will be mindful to neither over nor under respond to any one question, addressing each for about 90 seconds to 2 minutes.
Feb 28: Robyn and I met again to prepare me for my Wednesday viva voce. Prior to it, as discussed in our last meeting, I added notes to the slides. Then I rehearsed and timed what was a 90-image, 90-minute slideshow. I edited the text, and deleted 2 slides, which left me with an 88-image, 45-minute presentation. This is what I rehearsed with Robyn. She gave me the most constructive critique regarding my Chapter 3 notes.
Agreed action points (to be completed after the meeting):
Feb 15; To further prepare, I will record my timed discussion of each image on the 100 slide pptx I created at Professor Renton's request. And, if necessary, Robyn and I will meet one more time via zoom. In either case, between now the viva, we agreed to continue discussing my prep via email.
Feb 28: So that section is as strong as the earlier presented chapters, I will revise the text accompanying the Chapter 3 images. Then I'll email Robyn the pptx
